Naples Philharmonic Orchestra at Artis Naples
The area's premiere orchestra is the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. This is the ONLY full time professional orchestra in Collier County.
The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra is increasingly recognized as one of the leading young orchestras in the United States. In addition to regular classical, pops and chamber concerts, the orchestra has international recording credits and has accompanied such renowned artists as Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Kiri Te Kanawa and Frederica von Stade.
The orchestra was chartered on January 23, 1983 under the laws of the state of Florida. The mission of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra is to provide Southwest Florida with a steady and eclectic diet of classical and pops concerts, featuring world-class soloists and conductors and accomplished musicians from around the world. The orchestra strives to grow in artistic excellence each season, increasing its repertoire and adding challenging programs designed to stimulate and enrich audiences of all ages. The orchestra also reaches out with special community and school programs. The 85-piece orchestra has grown each year thanks to the generous support of the community.
Naples Community Orchestra & Chorus
Naples Community Orchestra is Naples premier community orchestra. Founded in 1993, the organization is dedicated to bringing the finest in orchestral music to the Naples area. The orchestra is an all volunteer group that provides low cost classical concerts in the Naples area.
The Naples Community Orchestra offers 4 concerts per season (January - April) at Moorings Presbyterian Church. Concerts are available via live stream in addition to in person viewing at Moorings Presbyterian.
Ticket prices are $30, and a season subscription is $100. Admission is FREE to students.
Naples Symphony Orchestra
The Naples Symphony Orchestra is an amateur symphony orchestra based in Southwest Florida and serving the wider communities of Naples and Ft. Myers. Its mission is to provide an opportunity for talented and passionate musicians, who love to play their instruments, to perform symphonic classical music - mainly from the Romantic era. The atmosphere is congenial, collective and collaborative. NSO strives to achieve as high a standard as possible in a friendly supportive environment.
The Naples Symphony Orchestra performs monthly during season (October - April) at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Tickets are FREE when they are available.
