Summer is coming and with it comes a lot of heat. This leaves many looking for water play areas and other places to cool off. Collier County has an abundance of such areas with a place to cool off nearby about every place in the county.

Sun and Fun Lagoon

Take a million gallons of water, a sunny Florida day and plenty of families having fun, and you must be at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon Waterpark in Collier County. This wonderful Wet-n-Wild style theme park has all types of water fun. Enjoy jet fountains, a Lazy River ride and a choice of  five challenging water slides for shooting down and splashing into the pool.

This Naples waterpark is located on Livingston Road, within easy access from Naples or Fort Myers via the I-75. It offers a very affordable day out with discounted admissions for children, seniors and locals with a valid Florida Driving License showing a Collier County address.

Pools and Aquatic Centers

River Park Aquatic Center

River Park Aquatic Center is free all year round and open Monday through Saturday from 10AM until 6PM and Sunday from 12PM until 5PM. There is a really fun children’s splash play area with a zero entry area.  

River Park Aquatic Center is located at 451 11th Street North in Naples.

Golden Gate Aquatic Center

The Golden Gate Aquatic Complex is a fantastic draw for both adults and children. Numerous swimming aerobic, and general lessons are offered throughout the year in instructed classes.

Aquatic Facility has a 25-yard by 25-meter heated pool, a children’s activity pool, a wading pool, a 177-foot open slide, a 122-foot closed slide, one 1-meter springboard and one 3-meter springboard.

Splash Pads and Fountains

There are a wide variety of splash pads and fountains in Naples that are open as a place to cool off

Venetian Village Fountain

Located at Venetian Village is the Venetian Village Fountain. These "jumping fountains" offer a water play area located right next to the Village Shops.

Baker Park Fountain

Located in Baker Park is a large jumping fountain / splash pad suitable as a water play area / cool off zone.

Splash Pad outside Bascom Palmer Eye Institute

This little hidden gem is located at the corner of Cypress Woods Drive and 9th St. N. This fountain offers a water play area and cool off spot that is a great stopover on your run or bike ride.

Fleischmann Park Splash Pad

Fleischmann Park has a splash pad located near the playground.

Vineyards Park Splash Pad
